Security Practices
Security is not an afterthought at Webkaro — it is built into every stage of our development process. This page outlines our general approach to building and maintaining secure applications.
Secure Development Principles
We follow security-by-design principles throughout our development process:
- Least privilege access — team members access only what they need
- Input validation and sanitization on all user-facing interfaces
- Parameterized queries to prevent injection attacks
- Dependency scanning to identify known vulnerabilities
- Code review requirements before any production deployment
Authentication and Authorization
For client projects that include authentication systems, we implement industry-standard practices including encrypted password storage (Argon2id), session management with HTTP-only cookies, and role-based access control.
Multi-factor authentication is recommended and implemented for all internal tooling and admin panels.
Infrastructure Security
We deploy on platforms with strong security track records (Vercel, AWS). All data is encrypted in transit via TLS.
Environment variables and secrets are managed through secure vaults — never committed to code repositories or exposed to client-side code.
Vulnerability Reporting
If you discover a security vulnerability in our website or any Webkaro project, please report it responsibly at security@webkaro.in.
We ask that you provide reasonable time for us before disclosing any issue publicly. We commit to responding to all reports promptly.
Report a Security Concern
Found a vulnerability? Please contact us at security@webkaro.in so we can address it quickly.
